Why is the checker free?
The free checker uses deterministic rules that run in your browser, so it costs us almost nothing to offer. We only charge when a real AI model runs (the Pro rewrite).
What counts as "AI rewrite"?
Rewriting the parts rules can't safely fix — significance inflation, synonym cycling, generic conclusions — where a model has to understand meaning to improve the sentence.
Do you use my text to train models?
Only with explicit opt-in, and only for Pro rewrites. The free tier never sends your text anywhere. See our Privacy Policy.
